THE POWER OF NOW

As we enter a New Year many of us are making resolutions. This age old practice is really just another form of Cosmic Ordering. First we have an intention of what it is we wish to manifest, or eradicate, from our life in the coming year. Next we write it down - if you don't then you should for this is an integral part of the process of manifesting - then we take steps to act upon our intention.

I don't know the percentage of resolutions that fail, but it is obviously high, otherwise diet companies, nicotine patch manufacturers and gyms would continue to see an upturn in their business throughout the year and not just in January!

As I have said previously, all the information as to why your resolutions may fail to manifest, along with all the techniques required to successfully 'Cosmic Order' are set out in the posts below. If, however, you are already in trouble with commitment to your resolutions, I would like to offer this phrase for you to ponder.

Now is a place where intention and attention come together.

Have the intention, give it the attention it deserves and then if you fall off, slip back or fail to see results, don't give up , that is in the past. Give it your intention and attention and begin again Now. Time spent chastising yourself is simply self defeating. Saying "Look, see, I tried and nothing happened" or "Look, see, I tried and slipped up as usual" are all signs of your unwillingness to believe that you create your reality. Statements such as these imply that some outside force has more power over your life than you do and you can't be held responsible for your actions. Grab that gremlin from your shoulder, lock it away and don't give it the food of defeat that it needs to stay alive.

Affirm, I can, I will and I have made this my reality......... I am thin, I am fit, wealthier. I am a non smoker, or whatever your desire is.

As a book title says, The Power of Now is extraordinary. Believe your wishes or resolutions have manifested, don't look back or forward, just see them as having happened now. As every moment is now, you are guaranteed results.

When you surrender to what is and so become fully present, the past ceases to have any power. You do not need it anymore. Presence is the key. Now is the key. Now is all there is - Eckhart Tolle
