THE SYNCHRONICITY TRAIL

Over on my Collaborating with Fate site you will see a post (15 April - The Prophecy) which reminds us of how our lives are guided by synchronistic events.

Syncronicities can occur within any time frame but in my experience we are usually talking about minutes, hours and days - beyond that we don't tend to make the connections so readily. Syncronicities also tend to come in rapid succession. They are not always going to lead you straight to a pot of gold but they are like invisible signposts; whispers from the Universe.... "Go this way", "Phone this person", "Look here".

The wonderful thing is that, if you listen carefully enough and trust these prompts (over and above what your conscious mind may be telling you) they can turn your life from the mundane to the magical.

I stopped at a Petrol Station this morning and picked up a newspaper I subsequently found a small booklet inside entitled 'Molecules'. On my Cosmic Cipher site you will see a post (April 8th) with a reference and quote about Molecules. You might comment on the coincidence but you'll be more impressed when I tell you that I buy The Mail and the booklet is distributed inside The Independent. Somehow it had migrated into the wrong paper!

I carefully read the booklet - and highly fascinating it was too. Then I pondered on the question- and this is what you might like to do too i.e. bring it to your conscious awareness - what is this latest coincidence about?

Often it will be related to our strongest unfulfilled 'desire' of the moment. For example if you put out a visualisation for a new house and then bump into an Estate Agent friend whom you haven't seen in months, the answer is usually pretty clear. That said, we should never pre-judge. It may be that the Estate Agent friend is showing up for a completely different reason, maybe even something to do with his path and not yours. Maybe something you say to him (or her) will send him into a 'that was a coincidence' moment, which will in turn lead to a change in his course or direction. Remember, like molecules, we live in a world that is full of things the eye cannot see but are intimately connected.

We have to let go and just trust. I don't know where this latest synchronicity is leading me and I may never find out. True, I now know more about molecules and atoms than I did yesterday but what I am aware of is that, as a result of seeing an advertisement about forthcoming booklets, I have decided to buy The Independent for the next few days. Maybe there is something that I need to see in one of these editions? Perhaps the forthcoming booklets about Cosmology, Particle Physics or Quantum Theory will engender a new understanding about the link between the laws of modern physics and the ancient laws which will further my understanding about 'manifesting'.

What I am trying to say is that we don't have to know where it is leading we just have to accept the prompt that it may be leading somewhere and keep flowing with it. The 'reason' may become apparent - it may not. All that's required is a surrender to the flow. In fact one of the paradoxes of being on this path of co-creating ones life is that control and surrender have to co-exist simultaneously.

In trying to control what happens to us, via putting out an intention using wish lists, affirmations, Vision Boards etc., we are using our conscious mind. We then have to surrender to the Unconscious to move these desires into our sphere of awareness. The Unconscious or 'Universe' (that place where past present and future co-exist outside of linear time) moves to fulfill our wishes and speaks to us through subconscious promptings and these in turn are made more visible by our conscious awareness of them. That's a complicated train of thought but brings us back to the axiom; Ask, Believe and ( open your awareness to..) Receive!

Incidentally before I leave this subject, after receiving my rogue booklet I returned to my desk only to see a message in my e-mail inbox with the subject header ....... Ha! you thought I was going to say 'Molecules' didn't you but no, this one said 'Water Power'. However it led me to a page where there was a discussion about the splitting of water molecules! I might ordinarily just have skipped through it and carried on with my day but because I was alert to the synchronicity I read it carefully and followed some links that I can assure you I would never normally click on.

I'm still following the train of links and already I'm back to the ancient texts where I am learning more about water in alchemical processes. Again I have no idea where this is leading but as I'm constantly asking for inspiration and clues about how the ancient Hermetic Laws mesh with modern day life (and particularly the practice of astrology and the Law of Vibration) it sure feels like another avenue towards solving that puzzle. Whatever it's eventual purpose the excitement in my life has increased a trillion fold since agreeing to be led by invisible forces and follow the synchronicity trails!
